A weekend of ups and downs!
🔧Training/Warmup
Fantastic speed from the start – Was among the fastest on the track.
⏱Qualification
A bit disappointing P11 after being blocked in my fast lap.
🔥Heat 1
P9 ➡️ P9 ➡️ P8 after penalties. The pace has slowed down a bit.
😬Heat 2
P9 ➡️ P9. Having trouble keeping up – lacking speed.
📉Heat 3
P9 ➡️ P14 ➡️ P10. Now driving 0.4-0.5 seconds slower than before. Penalties for others help me up.
🔧Pre-final
P14 ➡️ P17 ➡️ P22. We completely change the setup. It's difficult to be consistent, but it works! However, a penalty for pushing costs us 5 places.
🚀Final
P22 ➡️ P7 ➡️ P6. The speed is back and even better – up to 0.5 seconds faster than before! Good decisions and a little luck result in 15 places up and a final position of P6 after penalties.
A weekend of big ups and downs – from struggling with speed in the middle of the weekend to finding a setup that worked in the final. It was frustrating along the way, but we kept our cool and worked our way to a strong result. Lots of learning and even more motivation to take home 💪
We'll keep pushing – next time, the speed has to be there all weekend!
The first sponsor event was held on June 2.
We went to Vojens Karting Track and had a few fun hours together in their rental karts and burgers from their P1 restaurant. Thanks to the sponsors who were guinea pigs for our first sponsor event. I am already looking forward to holding another one.
