🏁 Race Update – Rotax Max Challenge, Roskilde 🏁
Debut in a new frame and fighting spirit all the way!
🔧 Friday – Training
We worked our way through several training sessions and remained stable around the top 10. The setup was a little tricky, so we still had some work to do before qualifying.
⏱ Saturday – Qualifying and heats
Qualification: P23
I make a small mistake on my fastest lap, which costs me a tenth of a second – without that, I would have been P9.Heat CD: P11 > P25
The pace was good enough for P3. I fought my way up to P7, but was braked and fell right back.Heat AC: P12 > P21
I take a chance at the start, but get pushed off. The new frame gets a little crooked, and we lose our momentum.
⛅ Sunday – Comeback mode!
Saturday's mishap means that I am now around P60 overall and will have to deliver something very special to qualify for the A final.
Heat BC: P12 > P11
Safe and stable driving to pick up important points.Pre-final: P19 > P11
Good speed and strong overtaking – I'm working my way steadily forward to pick up the last few points.Final A: P34 > P17
I just made it into the A final and am going all in!
An insanely good start brings me 8 places ahead before turn 1, and with good decisions I finish a whole 17 places up in P17!
